Wicklow town twinning committee exists to foster friendship
between the people of Wicklow and our
new friends in our twinned towns. These friendships are developed through mutual interests.
| Dancing, | When our visitors come to Wicklow they are

in both Porthmadog and Montigny | ||||||

There is a great opportunity for the sharing of ideas and art exchanges
between the three towns and the towns twinned with them. The Wicklow arts group
Kilmantin Arts has been involved

| Choirs |
We are regularly entertained by Welsh choirs, The Marostica children
sang beautifully at the Christmas market in Montigny | ||||||
| Historic Sites | The Ffestiniog slate quarries,Chateau de Versailles and Glendalough to name but a few. | ||||||

Town Twinning association exists to cultivate
friendships with the citizens of its twin town and to develop cultural links by
promoting: Youth Visits, organizing Educational Trips, arranging Weekend
Excursions, developing Sporting Links and participating in Arts Festivals; also
promoting Business Opportunities
